A 4 inch pipe does not take a 4 inch hole. Sleeves, couplings, and wobble all need room. Size the bit to the outside of what passes through, plus the clearance your spec calls for. When the spec is silent, ask the engineer of record, or call us and we will talk it through.

RDT core bits run a 1-1/4 inch, 7 thread connection, the common standard on core drill rigs. If your rig runs something else, you will need the right adapter. Confirm before you order.

These are wet bits. Water cools the diamond segments, clears slurry from the kerf, and keeps dust down. Plan a water feed and a cleanup method before the first hole.
